The Good: The Masquerade was fun and ran really smoothly for all the snaffus. Werewolf was also supremely fun. I'm also quite thankful taht the hotel had a pool. It helped me relax after Day one. :P

The Bad: I can't really think of any, though I get the feeling my group and I irked some people.

The Ugly: I actually wasn't disturbed by anything at this con. What's that say about me? XD

The Ugly - Captain planet kinda scared me though haha.
For the last time, WE DO NOT WANT FREE ROOTBEER! Hahah :]

get out, that captain planet was amazing and the sprecher's was delicious :|

the costume was good, the guy asked me to rubb his legs cause he just shaved uhm, it was kinda weird :/

The Capt Planet used regular tempera paint instead of using makeup so it rubbed off on everything. Its actually quite unsafe and wouldn't condone anyone else doing it. Ben Nye or Kryolan make great and fairly inexpensive colors that are safe to use on most of your body.

The Good: Old Friends!!! Making New Friends! (Hi Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, and fellow Doctor Who Peeps!) The Masquerade (Thank you very much again to the judges and sorry to Sir Catherine for that head bump.)

The Bad: I've never watched a full episode of Lucky Star, I had to for my Volunteer hours... I never want to again. lol (No I did not get the name Izumi from that show.)

The Ugly: This wasn't so much bad really, the strange fellow in the corset trying to get people to join the cult and I freaked him out by responding as the Doctor expressing my distrust of cults after my luck with the Cult of Skaro. Yeah that was more ugly for him...

The good:
SF Movie charades and Geek Jeopardy were alot of fun.
oggling on the amazing costumes on display.
I thought our Oddcon room party went ok. Hope people had fun there!

The bad:
Anybody find out what the deal was with the non-existant "GeekKon menu" at the Heartland Grill?
Not being able to do as much as I would like because I had to run the room party. (would have loved to have played more games)

Ugly:
Being broke, so not able to buy anything.
missing having restaurants in walking distance
my wife having too much homework to do to join me :(

Overall, an amazing job for a newish con at a brand new hotel. Let's hope the Oddcon/Geek Kon pairing continues over the years.

Paul

Yes, I'm a little annoyed with that myself. None of the staff saw anything resembling a special menu, and I believe it was in our contract with the hotel. I could be wrong, though.

We'll look into it.

I love your response to the cult, Nick. I'm thankful I seemed to have missed this con aspect entirely.

Oops, sorry! I'm doing just splendidly though.

@ Sir Catherine and Derek:
I have a healthy distrust of Daleks.

IDK why you adressed that to me, I was just saying I was envious of him not having to deal with the cult crap (although the boobs were nice)...
